The oldest international organization devoted to investor protection, the North American Securities Administrators Association, Inc. (NASAA) was organized in 1919 and is a voluntary association with a membership consisting of 67 state, provincial and territorial securities administrators from the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Canada, and Mexico. While NASAA itself is not a regulatory entity, its members have regulatory authority as securities administrators, directors or commissioners. As a result, NASAA's positions generally prove very influential in the area of Blue Sky.

As the official publication for the NASAA, this is the most current source for this type of information. Subscribers generally have 30 days to respond to proposed changes, so you have a chance to voice your opinion.
Access in-depth coverage of the Uniform Securities Act - The Uniform Securities Act of 1956 is first provided in its entirety with NASAA amendments, rules and comments following each section. The Act is then repeated with the amendments and rules integrated into the text of the Act to provide easy reading and comprehensive coverage of the most recent changes to the Act. Finally, the Uniform Securities Act, as amended by the National Securities Markets Improvements Act of 1996 (NSMIA), is reflected. Lastly, the Uniform Securities Act of 2002 and its official comments are reproduced in their entirety.
